Holokote
The patented Holokote™ anti-forgery card protection eliminates the threat from fake IDs and is standard on all Alto, Rio and Tango models. Holokote™ is an anti-copying watermark across the entire card surface.
Protection from forgery is achieved thanks to the unique, patented HoloKote ™ system which cannot be copied or bypassed. This unique security feature incorporates a repeating frosted security logo into the overcoat laid down during the normal print cycle. A standard HoloKote ™ logo is built into the printer, but increased security can be achieved through the use of an encrypted custom logo which is electronically stored in a miniature 'Compact Flash' sized UltraSecure ™ key. HoloKote ™ costs absolutely nothing to use and visibility can be increased when used in conjunction with HoloPatch ™ cards.
Holopatch
When used with the optional Magicard HoloPatch ™ card stock, one of the security logos is highlighted by a highly reflective gold 'super-diffuser' patch, making the logo clearly visible under all lighting conditions. HoloKote ™ with HoloPatch ™ has a similar appearance to credit card hologram patches.
Over Laminate
For use with card laminator. Applies separate high durability overlay patch to pre-printed cards.
