The W-Class ™ represents the best wide web printers Datamax has ever produced. We started with the basic mechanical design of our most popular wide format (6" and 8") printer, improved its mechanism by using die-cast parts for the critical motor and printhead mounts, beefed up its belts and bearings, and used the electronics from our extraordinary I-Class ™ platform. The resulting W-Class printers are easier to use, faster, more reliable, and more economical than their predecessors.
 DMX-W-6208 ™
The DMX W-6208 prints up to 6.61" wide, and supports a web up to 6.7" wide. It can print a 203 dpi image at 8 inches per second. It is an ideal printer for compliance labelling applications including ODETTE, EAN-128 and AIAG labels.
DMX-W-6308 ™ (pictured)
The DMX W-6308 prints up to 6.4" wide, and supports a web up to 6.7" wide. It prints 8ips at a resolution of 300dpi and is also an ideal printer for compliance labelling applications including ODETTE, EAN-128 and AIAG labels.
It features a tough all-metal chassis designed to withstand adverse work environments making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications. It is equipped with a 32-bit 90-MHz true multi-tasking Motorola ColdFire ™ processor and 16MB of standard memory, which provides accelerated first-label output and variable-data printing.

DMX-W-8306 ™
The DMX W-8306 prints up to 8.5" wide, and supports a web up to 9" wide. It is a perfect printer for applications that require large, durable labels. Typical industries that use these printers are the lumber, chemical, automotive and clinical industries.
